  • A treated fabric with contrasting sieving effect will give life to your decoration while letting in the outside light.
  • Using a blackout-treated fabric will cut off the outside light while decorating your window.
  • A roller window shutter and blinds consists of 2 different parts:

The material panel which is a rectangle only cut to the requested dimensions. The material is to choose from our collection of treated fabrics and screens.

The mechanism consists of a metal tube on which the material panel is wound and control boxes attached to the ends of the tube that allow movement of the panel.

There are 2 possibilities of winding : Either by the back of the tube so that the panel is attached to the window, or by the front of the tube when one wishes a spacing because of a handle for example.

The finished width of a roller blind is between 40 cm and 2.60 m.

The finished height of a roller blind is between 50 cm and 2.60 m.

There are different ways of fixing the product which are adapted to the types of mechanisms proposed: direct wall fixing or with a distance bracket, fixing to the direct ceiling or with an angle bracket. Generally the roller blind is fixed by clips whatever the type of fixation chosen. An explanatory note is provided with your product.

The Materials: Treated Fabrics and Screens

They are made of materials that allow easy maintenance, by washing with sponge for treated fabrics and screens. We advise you to pay attention to drying conditions which can, if they are not respected, degrade your product very strongly.

Our materials are based on cotton, polyester and acrylic for treated fabrics and screens.

Types of mechanisms

The simple mechanism: Side brackets are provided with the mechanism. A chain allows the training of the panel.

Mounting types are: direct wall mount and direct ceiling mount

The mechanism with profile: a profiled metal plate is added to the simple mechanism on which the lateral supports are fixed. The blind is then fixed by means of the profiled plate and the types are: direct wall mounting or with a distance bracket, fixing to the direct ceiling or with a distance bracket.

The weight bars

  • To help maintain the fabric panel, a weight bar is placed on the bottom of the panel. We offer 3 types:
  • The hidden weight bar: placed in the bottom hem of the panel.
  • The round weight bar: The bottom of the panel is inserted in the round section bar.
  • The flat weight bar: the bottom of the panel is inserted into the flat rectangular section bar.

Measurement

In order to help you in your project, we ask you for the minimum of information. You must specify the finished dimensions of the product, those of the final size of your (your) panel (s) Japanese when (s) is (are) closed (s). Our technical experience allows us to manufacture the product (s) to the desired size and result.

For a roller blind, you must first take into account the residual encroachment when the awning is rolled up. This corresponds to the height of the folded material panel. It is 5 cm. For a blind fixed to the wall in front of an opening window, the top of the mechanism must be 5 cm above the window.

The measurement is done as follows:

Finished Width: corresponds to the horizontal length of the mechanism (tube and control boxes included)

Note: The material board has a width of 4 cm.

Finished Height: The vertical length between the upper end of the mechanism and the bottom of the weight bar when the blind is fully unwound.

Note: The support rail of the panels exceeds the panel by 2 cm.
